Description
This piece is called 'Further Light'. It reflects the desire I've seen in so many people to receive more revelation about lgbtq+ matters.
The piece was initially inspired by certain moms of lgbtq+ children. I've felt moved by their compassion and their desire to learn and to become better parents, allies and friends. I am amazed by their love and see Christ reflected in them. The hand pictured is meant to be that of a loving mother.
I know this is not everyone's experience. Not everyone has parents or friends who react in a kind of loving way.
I hope we all can become better allies, parents and friends as Christ is.
1st Nephi 11:17 ...I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.
